what can I say?  its true... less is more!  girl + food is about a journey that has brought us back to the basics, back to simpler times when I was just a girl who wanted to do food.  In all honesty it was never completely about the food.  It was about so much more.  In 2007 when I created cafe fresh, downtown, moline, Illinois ~ just a little spot, 30 seats, I was looking for something to heal my heart.  I had a passion for food & I wasn't quite finding what I was looking for out there, so I took a leap of faith & got to work.  I love sharing my passion for eating, drinking + being social with others.  I had hoped to create a plate + a space that left people feeling uplifted and energized for the rest of their day.  I am truly honored + appreciate you stopping by and sharing your day with us!
